Leatherhead Angling Society Work Party
Sunday 13th May
Wildlife Pond, Ashtead Park
Meet 9am in the car park.
The club NEEDS YOU! to come down and help
There is a great deal of work to do to tidy up the ponds in readiness for the coming Summer.
Even if you can come down for an hour or so your help would be greatly appreciated.
It is extremely rewarding work and a great way to start the day.
Recent electro fishing of the Rookery revealed an abundance of stunning roach and rudd and lots of superb ‘true’ crucians to well over a pound as well as the resident carp.
The wildlife pond although a harder fishery still has a great stock of Tench from juveniles up to 6lb monsters as well as the newly stocked Bream and some nice Pike!
COME DOWN AND JOIN THE FUN!!!

Wildlife Pond Re-Stocking
The club is pleased to announce that in addition to the stocking last year, fishery officer Dave Tarrant has now commenced this seasons re-stocking program of the Wildlife Pond with £500 worth of Bream. With the river season now at an end it could be time for some Spring Tench fishing and the best chance of a big tench to 6lbs is certainly in the Wildlife Pond!!
