BREAD BAN.  The LDAS have now banned the use of bread for all fishing methods at Long Copse . DO NOT TAKE BREAD TO LONG COPSE.

BAD TACKLE . . . and we don’t mean football . . .

This giant of a hook was found at Long Copse.

Firstly, why is anyone using a hook this size. The maximum anyone needs is probably a size 10.  Secondly, and more serious, this hook is ‘barbed’.  Barbed hooks are banned on all still waters and the river unless fishing for Pike.  Bailiffs will be making spot checks for illegal tackle, and anyone found using these hooks will be banned from the club.
