ASHTEAD PARK FISH SURVEY FEBRUARY 2023

“Our grateful thanks to the Environment Agency for fitting us in to their busy programme of fishery surveys. The aim of the survey is to indicate stocking level, species present (including identifying any rogue or inappropriate species), recruitment year profile, indication of ongoing recruitment as well as general health and development, adequacy of nutrition, evidence of predation etc.  The Environment Agency will be sending us a report which will likely show that we have some way to go in the development of the Wildlife Pond fishery but will be instrumental in informing our future decisions on works and expenditure at Ashtead”.
