FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW THEN RETURN TO YOUR CLUBMATE APP AND BOOK THE DATE YOU WANT TO FISH FROM 'GUEST TICKET'
The Take a Friend Fishing scheme, supported by the Angling
Trades association and the Angling Trust, entitles an experienced angling rod
licence holder, to apply for a one-day rod licence for a friend who is
inexperienced in fishing – free of charge – and take them fishing under supervision.
The next session which this will operate will be 3rd
– 19th April, ie over Easter.
Information may be found herehttps://takeafriendfishing.co.uk to
register a Friend to fish with a free rod licence for a day.
When registered, request a free ticket from the Clubmate
App. NOTE: Be sure to REPLACE YOUR NAME WITH THE NAME OF THE GUEST AND CLICK ON 'ADD TO BASKET
Applications to register is now open.
LDAS will be supporting this initiative by waiving the fee
for the member guest ticket for a member and one guest participating in the Take
a Friend Fishing scheme during the period 3rd – 19th
April – apply using your Clubmate App.
This facility will open around the same time as the free
licence application and is separate from that.
Note that this will apply to Ashtead and Long Copse waters only, as we will be in
the river close season at that time.
